Phillip Henley, 28, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010 in his home. Services will be held 1:00 p.m.; Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the Royer Funeral Home; Grain Valley, MO. Burial in the Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Grain Valley, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Phillip was born March 16, 1982 in Euless, TX to Steven and Kitty (Holmes) Henley. Phillip worked as a carpenter laying carpeting and flooring for his fathers company. He was an avid fisherman, loved to BBQ, hunt and bowl.
He was preceded in death by his father; Steven Henley, his paternal grandmother; Vernie Humbird, his maternal grandparents; Clyde and Annie Holmes; and two cousins; Joseph Snodgrass and Thomas Roberts.
His survivors include his mother; Kitty Henley of the home, one sister; Amanda Phillips, one nephew; Dawson Phillips, his paternal grandfather; Wayne Henley, Sr., and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
