Ralph was born on February 25, 1959, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Jack and Irene Wilson. He grew up in South Kansas City, and graduated from Ruskin High School where he enjoyed playing football. After marrying (Lynda) Beth in 1979 and raising four children, the couple relocated to Reno, NV. Ralph worked as a residential and commercial construction estimator for Alcal Specialty Construction. They returned to Missouri in 2017 and Ralph later retired from Alcal.
As an avid outdoorsman, he relished his many hunting and fishing adventures. He impressed upon his children to appreciate all of what nature had to offer, inspiring a similar appreciation of the outdoors in each. Later in life, he fulfilled his dream to run a mini farm by raising pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and even bees.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Irene, his brothers Dennis, Mark, and John, and his sister Marilyn Armstrong. His survivors include his wife Beth, son Tyler (Cyndy), and daughters Emily Worts (Kevin), Ashley Cullen, Melody Morales (Daniel); sisters Carolyn Hurt and Debbie Turner; and 15 grandchildren.
