Ralph Eugene Swafford Jr., 62, of Liberty, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Ashton Court in Liberty. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2012 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses or the Alzheimer’s Association. Pallbearers will be: Gary Hurst, Terry DeMott, Josh Chrisp, Donnie Bass, T.J. Zeller and Jimmy Diaz.
Ralph was born August 15, 1950 in Topeka, KS to Ralph E. & Wilma J. (Bedford) Swafford Sr. On October 20, 1986 he married Tamela J. Zeller. He was an over the road truck driver by trade.
Ralph was preceded in death by his grandparents: George & Irene Bedford; parents: Ralph Swaffford Sr. & Wilma J. Lego; sister: Candida Swafford; and son: Timmy Lynn Zeller.
Ralph is survived by his wife Tamela Swafford; children: Shannon Diaz, Brandi Swafford, Rony Zeller, Tanya Zeller; grandchildren: Riley Hall, Jordan Hall, Dayton Lawson, Morgan Boldridge, Anthony Diaz, Zane Swafford, Thomas Diaz, and Ryan Swafford.
