Raymond Claude McNair, 62, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 8th at the home of his brother: Jim McNair, 13703 Granada Road, Leawood, KS.
Raymond was born December 22, 1954, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Carlton Bert and Mary Margaret (Myers) McNair. He worked at several grocery stores under the tutelage of Don Bartlett. Raymond enjoyed listening to music, drinking Coca-Cola, playing computer games, and watching TV with his wife. Ray also enjoyed political debate and lived his life on his own terms.
His survivors include his wife, Theresa McNair of the home; 2 sons: Eric McNair of Warrensburg, MO, and Jeff McNair of Oak Grove; 3 grandchildren: Aaron, Abigail and Elijah; his father, Mac McNair of Overland Park, KS; 1 sister, Paula Riniker of Overland Park; 1 brother, Jim McNair (Pam) of Leawood, KS; 3 nieces: LeAnne, Olivia, & Tracy; 19 cousins; 2 grand-nieces and 2 grand-nephews.
