Richard James Bragaw Jr., 69, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 also at the funeral home; burial in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.
Richard was born on August 19, 1948, son of Richard J. Sr. and Mary M. (Morris) Bragaw. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Air Force where he was in the River Patrol Special Forces. He loved to bowl, fly fish, golf and fly Cessna planes. Rick was an avid Mizzou and Chiefs fan, loved to socialize and travel. He loved life and always tried to make everyone happy. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Mary Ann Baur.
Richard’s survivors include his 2 sons, Chris (Lori) Bragaw of Oak Grove, MO and Jeff (Trina) Bragaw of Oak Grove, MO; significant other, Carol Fannin of Harrisonville, MO; grandchildren, Austin Bragaw, Kylee Bragaw, Maranda Bragaw, Riley (Sydni) Turney and Justis Turney; and great-grandchild, Rylen Turney.
