Richard Thomas Buford passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2024 in Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral Mass Service will be April 27, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Cyril Catholic Church, 11401 Chicago Street, Sugar Creek, Missouri. Rosary will be prayed before Mass at 9:30 a.m. for all who would like to attend.
Richard was born October 8, 1984 in Kansas City, Missouri to William and Janine (Boutross) Buford. Richard never sat still, he was always fixing or making something. He was a mechanic and enjoyed welding when he had the opportunity. He was a big presence in his daughter Ellie’s life and enjoyed spending time with her. Richard was a jokester and prankster. He liked making people laugh and was always the life of the party. He had a big heart and was always there to help anyone who needed it. He will be deeply missed.
He was preceded by in death by his father, William Buford.
Richard is survived by his mother, Janine Buford; daughter, Ellie Ana Buford; and brother, Bill Buford and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
