Ricky Kent Belew, 53, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away August 28, 2015. Visitation is 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 31st at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO. Funeral services are at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 1st at the funeral home; burial in Blue Springs Cemetery.

Rick was born February 2, 1962, in Vernon, Texas, the son of Bobby and Sue Belew. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #2 and worked for A Zahner Company. Rick was also a member of the United States Practical Shooters Assoc. (USPSA).

His survivors include his wife, LeAnn Belew; daughter, Christina Belew; son, Joshua (Brittany) Belew; parents, Bobby & Sue Belew; father-in-law, Johnie Sliger; brother, Randy (Patti) Belew; sister-in-law, Melanie Carnahan; niece, Kate (Bryan) Andrews; nephew, Aaron Carnahan; one great-nephew, Elijah Baker Andrews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
