Robert “Bob” Gene Hedstrom, 87, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018. Services will be held Tuesday, July 17th at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove, with visitation at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church or to the Salvation Army.
Bob was born August 8, 1930, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Arthur Rudolph and Bertha Pauline (Moline) Hedstrom. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Bob was a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Grove and the Fellowship Sunday School class. He enjoyed golfing.
Bob is survived by his wife, Carol Hedstrom; daughter, Deborah Hedstrom; son, Darren Hedstrom; and granddaughter, Caitlin Hedstrom. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Dennis Hedstrom; and three siblings.
