Robert “Bob” E. Richards Jr., 74, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018. Graveside inurnment will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 1st in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Bob was born July 3, 1943, in Pennington Gap, Virginia, the son of Robert E. and Thelma K. (Moore) Richards. He loved cars, Tennessee Walking horses, showing horses, Coca Cola, and the Kansas City Chiefs. Bob was a loving father, adored his family, and was always happy. He was a good Christian man and loved the Lord.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Karen.
His survivors include two sons: Jim Richards (Shelley) of Oak Grove, and Robb Richards of Grain Valley, MO; two sisters: Terri Jackson of Blue Springs, MO, and Kathy Moorman of Lee’s Summit, MO; six grandchildren and one on the way; and four great-grandchildren.
