Robert Earl (Bob) Thomas, 91 of Oak Grove, MO passed away December 23, 2013.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Friday, December 27, 2013 at Grace Baptist Church 600 Maple Lane Oak Grove, MO 64075, and will be followed by the funeral Service at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church or First Baptist Church of Oak Grove. Bob was born June 25, 1922 in LaMonte, MO to Robert F. & Luella L. (Aldredge) Thomas. Bob proudly served his country during WWII in the Air Force. Bob married Willa Mae Pennell March 9, 1956. Bob was a claims manager for U.S. Epperson Underwriting Insurance Co in Boca Raton, FL at the time of his retirement in 1984. Bob served as a Deacon at First Baptist Churches in Raytown, MO and Boca Raton FL. and Grace Baptist of Oak Grove MO where he had been a member since 1985. He also enjoyed playing the organ for church services and nursing homes. Bob was preceded in death by his parents: Robert & Luella Thomas. Bob is survived by his wife: Willa Mae Thomas of the home; brothers Lee Roy and Kenneth Thomas; daughter: Joy (Randy) Kreisel; granddaughter Rachel (Adam) Erickson; grandson: Joel (Shannon) Kreisel; and great-granddaughter: Naomi Erickson; nephews Ron (Donette) Thomas, Larry (Lorain) Thomas and Randy (Denise) Thomas; and sister-in-law Patricia Pennel
