Robert Patrick Baker, 65, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 8th at Maywood Baptist Church, 10505 Winner Rd, Independence, MO, 64052. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. also at the church; burial in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens, Independence, following the service.
Robert was born in Independence, MO, on September 23, 1952, the son of David and Margaret (McAhan) Baker. He liked to fish with his grandkids, enjoyed watching the Chiefs and WWE wrestling, loved his Chevy trucks and his Plymouth Barracuda. He is preceded in death by his parents.
His survivors include his wife, Tammy Baker; 4 children, Tessie Baker of Independence, Shawna Dale (Robert) of Grain Valley, Shannon Baker of Independence, and Michelle Baker of Independence; grandchildren, Courtney, Shanon, Thomas, Kaelyn, Makayla, Anthony Jr., Nevaeh and Jaslynn; 6 brothers, Paul, Chris, Chuck, Tom, Jim and John; and sister, Sue.
