Robert Schildhauer, 92, of Buckner, MO passed away April 19, 2014.
Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO. Graveside service with burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Robert was born June 10, 1921 in Boyden, IA to Christian & Cora (Drenth) Schildhauer. He was the oldest sibling of 7 children. Robert was married on May 12, 1946 to Mary Ellen Martin. Robert served his country for 5 years in the U.S. Army. He was a Deacon in the Restoration Branch Church in Buckner, MO. He was a truck driver for Kaw Transport for many years, and a Machine Repairman for Owens Corning Fiberglass Co until his retirement in 1984.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Chris and Roy Schildhauer and daughter: Eileen Schildhauer.
Robert is survived by his wife Mary Schildhauer of Lawson, MO; daughter: Kay Williams of Lawson, MO, son: Dennis Schildhauer of Alamogordo, NM, daughter: Melissa Green of Lone Jack, MO; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren
