Roger Alan Dean, 62, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away Friday, May 22, 2020. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6^th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. 

Roger was born June 11, 1957 in Salina, Kansas, the son of Forest and Arlene (Rasmussen) Nelson. He worked as a website developer, programmer, and individual consultant.  Roger had enjoyed 10 years of retirement.  He was an avid golfer, Frisbee golfer, and video golfer.  In his younger years, he enjoyed snow skiing.  In September, he would have been married to Jerry Plummer for 40 years.  

Roger was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene Rasmussen; biological father, Forest Nelson; stepfather, Louis Dean; and sister, Lori Sullinger. 

His survivors include his wife, Jerry; sons, Erik Dean (Julia) and Ryan Dean (Karri); and several beloved pets.
