Roger Gary Martin, 82, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018. Graveside services for Roger and his wife, Eileen, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 6th in Concord Cemetery, Bates City, MO.
Roger was born July 30, 1935, in Rothville, Missouri, the son of Noble J. and Hazel L. (Cash) Martin. He lived in Oak Grove for 49 years and was a self-employed contractor all his life. Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. Most of all, he loved his family and his many friends.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 58 years, Eileen Martin; and his brother, William “Dub” Martin.
His survivors include son, Steve McGlasson (Robin) of Independence, MO; daughter, Suzie Williams of Holden, MO; daughter, Becky Thompson (Steve) of Bates City, MO; son, Gary Martin (Rhonda) of Bates City; eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
