Ronald “Ron” Charles Kingston, 75, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 from congestive heart failure. A visitation will be held Thursday May 12^th from 1:00-2:00 pm. At Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm. also at the funeral home; burial in Valley Memorial Gardens following service. The family suggests contributions be made to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.

Ronald was born in Toronto, Canada on April 28, 1941, son of Charles and Nelly Kingston. He enjoyed restoring old cars and hunting. Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Nelly Kingston; and sister, Susan Souza. He is survived by his wife, Louise Kingston of the home; son, Charles Kingston of Independence, MO; brother-in-law, Dewey Blankenship of Odessa, MO; sister-in-law’s, Lois Lewis of Plattsburg, MO, Mary Jo Link of Higginsville, MO, and Sue Lahey (Bill) of Independence, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
