Ronald Ray “Butch” Johnson, 72, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21^st at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Butch was born September 3, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Claud Thomas and Mildred Opal (Story) Johnson.  He spent the majority of his childhood in Climax Springs, MO, and graduated from Climax Springs High School in 1971.  Butch worked most of his life in the envelope industry, most of that time for Tension Envelope.

Butch’s survivors include his wife, Eda Johnson of the home; daughter, Kayla David (Drew) of Oak Grove; grandson, Roman David of Oak Grove; daughter, Kassandra Buscher of Blue Springs; grandsons, Riley & Brody Buscher; sister, Peggy Wyatt (Rocky) of Climax Springs, MO; brother, Donald “Donnie” Johnson (Nidia) of Gladstone, MO; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Larry Johnson, and sister Cindy Young.
