Ronald Wayne Parish, age 51, peacefully passed away on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018, at his home in Independence, MO. A memorial service of Ron’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 24th, 2018, at Missionary Restoration Branch, 3415 N Elsea Smith Rd., Buckner, MO. 64016.
Ron was born on September 16th, 1967 in Independence, MO. He was the son of Jewel and Milberta Mary (Stevenson) Parish. Ron accepted Christ as his savior at an early age as he grew up in a good Christian home, attending services every Sunday at the RLDS Stone Church. He graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1985 and always enjoyed living the good life in the “Heartland”of the U.S.A., Chiefs games; Royals World Series wins; fishing; and just being outdoors. Ron had a good heart and enjoyed helping others; this can be seen through his occupation as an LPN for over 20 years, making many friends and helping lots of patients at Independence Regional and CenterPoint hospitals. Ron always loved his two special pet Beagles. He also enjoyed spending time with family and especially helping out his mother. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
Ron is survived by his mother, Milberta Parish, two sisters, Julie (David) Evans and Debra (Roy) Barmore, all of Independence, MO. One niece, Michelle Evans, three nephews, Bradley, Christopher (Kayla) and Jason Evans. Also many great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jewel Parish and one nephew, Wesley Evans.
