Ronda Darlene Vivian, 57, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20th at Norfleet Baptist Church, 5512 Norfleet Road, Independence. Contributions may be made to Powell Gardens or Norfleet Baptist Church.
Ronda was born November 2, 1962, in Independence, MO, the daughter of Ronald G. and Dolores A. (Niendick) Vivian. She loved gardening and landscaping. Ronda worked at Powell Gardens as an intern in the 1980s before getting her Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture from M.U. She had also worked at Earl May Nursery & Garden Center. Most recently, Ronda was an administrative assistant at Norfleet Baptist Church for 15 years and was a member of Connection Point Church in Raytown.
Her survivors include her parents: Ron & Dolores Vivian of Bates City, MO; sister, Dorena Ahrens (Mike) of Omaha, NE; nephew, Christopher Ahrens; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
