Rosalie Spear, 83, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 2nd at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
Rosalie was born in Fairplay, Missouri, the daughter of Jesse and Louisa Miller. She participated in the family business, Spear Excavating and Construction. Rosalie was a member of First Baptist Church. She especially enjoyed spending time with her husband, Marion, whom she was married to for 65 years, and her family.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Her survivors include daughter, Carol Spear of Oak Grove; two sons: Micheal Spear (Bernita) of Richmond, MO, and Larry Spear of Oak Grove; four grandchildren: Brad Spear, April Dalen, Lindy Burk, and Micheal Spear; five great-grandchildren: Katie Spear, Becca Harris, Hunter Spear, Addison Burk, and Carson Burk; and two great great-grandchildren: Bowen Harris and Nora Harris.
