Sandra Lee Ackerman, 67, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015. A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30th at Royer-Hays Funeral Home, Blue Springs.
Sandi was born January 17, 1948 in Davenport, Iowa to Virgil and Mildred Shipley. She enjoyed genealogy, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family.
Sandi was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael John Ackerman; one son, Shawn Kelly Stone; and two brothers, Robert and Richard Shipley.
Her survivors include her sister, Barbara Moore; her brother, Ronald Shipley and his wife, Sandra; her children: Misty Worthley and her husband, Robert, Christina Worley, Shane Stone and his wife, Shelley; fifteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
