Shawn E. Lajoie, 44, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012. Visitation will be 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Shawn was born March 3, 1967 in Chicago, IL to Thomas and Marie (Dahlin) DeFries. Shawn was a Christian by faith. She loved her children and loved to read and do crafts. She was preceded in death by her father: Thomas DeFries Sr. and a nephew: Benjamin Underwood.
Shawn is survived by one daughter: Annamarie Lajoie of Blue Springs, MO; one son: David Lajoie of Blue Springs, MO; mother: Marie DeFries of Oak Grove, MO; three sisters: Donna Morris & husband Jim of Standish, MI, Patti Underwood & husband Rod of Oak Grove, MO, Kay Lovell & husband Aaron of Oak Grove, MO; one brother: Tom DeFries Jr. of Bates City, MO.
