Susan D. Julian


Susan Dianne Julian, 61, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 12th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Susan was born on October 17, 1956 in Kansas City, MO, daughter of Bobby and Martha (Davis) Cochran, She was a medical technician at Park Place in Raytown, Mo for many years. She loved to crochet afghans, eat licorice and sweets even though she was suffered from diabetes since she was 11. She received recognition for building a dollhouse that she built for her niece, Christina. Her greatest joy in her life was being a grandmother, she loved her grandchildren so much they became her whole life. She is preceded in death by her parents; and son, Jason A. Yardley.

Susan’s survivors include her son, Daniel and Cynthia Yardley of Grain Valley; 2 grandchildren, Hannah Yardley of Grain Valley and Trent Yardley of Grain Valley; brother, Richard Cochran of Independence; 2 sisters, Rose and Freddy Pacheco of Lee’s Summit and Julie Cochran of TN; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
