Terre Lynn Whitener, 50, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 8th at First Baptist Church, Oak Grove. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
Terre was born May 5, 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Willis and Patricia (Twombley) Whitener. She was a homemaker. She loved music, going to concerts, motorcycles, writing, and her family, especially her granddaughter.
Her survivors include her daughter, Jurnee Whitener of Odessa, MO; her son, Jesse & Angela Whitener & granddaughter, Cambria, of Oak Grove; her mother, P.J. Allison of Oak Grove; sister, Kathleen Quinn of Columbia, MO; three stepbrothers: Chris Osbern of Oak Grove, David Osbern of North Kansas City, & Kevin Osbern of Lake Waukomis, MO; and stepmother, Linda Whitener of North Kansas City.
