Terrell R. Eddington


Terrell Russell Eddington, 64, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 21st at Blue Springs Assembly of God Church.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.  Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22nd in Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Charles, MO.

Terry was born January 25, 1954, in St. Charles, MO, the son of Russell H. and Joyce A. (Sellenschuetter) Eddington.  He was a minister with Assembly of God churches for 42 years.  Terry had a love for music and enjoyed being a music pastor, and most recently, a senior adult pastor.  He was also a piano tuner / technician for 30 years.  Terry loved boating and being on the water.

His survivors include his wife of 42 years, Joy Eddington of the home; son & daughter-in-law, Darren and Krista Eddington of Springfield, MO; two grandsons, Ethan and Andrew Eddington; his mother, Joyce Eddington of St. Charles; sister & brother-in-law, Sherry and Ron Mitchell of St. Peters; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, David and Donna Brooks of Peoria, IL; two nieces, Kim and Chris; and one nephew, Wesley.  Terry was preceded in death by his father.

  2. I will always remember the days when you led worship through music at Englewood Assembly of God, Independence, Missouri. It was a blessing to know you in this life. I will see you in Heaven brother.
