Tod Baron Hickman, 65, of Independence, Missouri passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Centerpoint Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Crown Pointe Church of the Assemblies of God, Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the church sanctuary. Contributions can be made to Veterans Community Project, an organization that assists homeless veterans by building small homes for them to live in.
Tod Baron Hickman was born September 20, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son of Clyde and LaVaun Hickman and have five brothers and sisters. He worked as a caregiver at NorthStar Residential Care. Providing support for individuals with developmental disabilities. He retired from NorthStar in 2017. Tod loved MU sports, the Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs. He also loved playing cards with his brothers and good friends.
Tod is survived by his mother, LaVaun Hickman of the home; sister, Debbie North (David) of Blue Springs, Missouri; brother, Jay Hickman of Independence, Missouri; brother, Phil Hickman of Gladstone, Missouri; sister LeeAnn Wilcutt (Ed) of Independence, Missouri; brother Jess Hickman of Independence, Missouri; 9 nieces and nephews; and 5 great nieces and nephews.
