Tony William Taloney, 78, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018, at Oak Grove Nursing & Rehab, Oak Grove. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until the service time at the funeral home.
Tony was born December 14, 1939, in Wellington, Missouri, the son of Russell and Leona (Danner) Taloney. He married Evelyn F. Johnson on July 24, 1961. Tony was a self-employed carpenter, remodeling home kitchens and bathrooms. He enjoyed fishing, watching boxing and Chiefs football, and especially spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Tony is survived by his wife of 58 years, Evelyn Taloney of the home; daughter, Connie Barrett (Wes) of Blue Springs, MO; son, Greg Taloney (Candy) of Oak Grove; sister, Kay Taloney of Idaho; and three grandchildren: Madeline Taloney, Kane Barrett, and Leea Barrett. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Anthony Taloney in 2010.
