Travis Michael Smith, 41, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence.
Travis was born on October 29, 1976, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Brian and Diane (Coe) Smith. He attended Blue Springs High School, getting his diploma in 1995. Travis started truck driving 18 years ago, driver over the road for 5 years. He worked at TomKen Transportation in Kansas City, MO, and the time of his death. Travis loved football and was an avid KC Chiefs fan. Most importantly, he was a loving father of two girls, Haley Marie Nicole Smith, age 19, and Fallon Rose Smith, age 7.
Travis was preceded in death by his father Brian. He was survived not only by his precious girls, but also his loving mother, Diane; stepfather, Joe Antoine; maternal grandmother, Marilyn Coe; paternal grandmother, Joan Justice; as well as many extended family and friends. He will be forever loved and missed by all.
