Troy Lockard, 42, of Edwards, MO, died January 9, 2015, as the result of an automobile accident. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 14, at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO; visitation from 5:30–7:30 pm, funeral at 7:30 pm. A graveside service will be held at 11 am Thursday at Centerview Cemetery, Centerview, MO.
Troy was born January 26, 1972 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Jerry & Kathryn (Rathbun) Lockard. He graduated from Grandview High School in 1990. Troy had worked as a cement mason for over 22 years. He was married to Amy Mayer.
His father, Jerry Lockard, preceded him in death.
He leaves his mother & “Pop” Kathy & Steve Hendrix of Edwards, MO; wife Amy, son Blake & daughter Kylie Lockard; a step-son Joshua Mayer; a brother Terry Lockard, a sister Shannon Nelson, step-brothers Scott & Todd Hendrix; and a step-sister Kim Tarpley.
Troy will mostly be remembered for his witty sense of humor and his beautiful smile.
