Vernon Wesley “Wes” Hill, 82, of Oak Grove and Blue Springs, MO passed away December 25, 2020 at his home.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Dorothy (Carney) Hill; brother, Ralph Hill; and sisters: Carol Douglas and Kathleen Shepherd. 

Wes was survived by his wife, Cheryl, of the home; sons, David (Paula) of Shawnee, KS, and Dennis (Jennifer) of Indian Rocks Beach, FL; daughter, Heather McCann (Kenny) of Lakeway, TX; stepdaughters, Leanne Farkes (Chris) of Lenexa, KS, and Christie Campbell of Blue Springs, MO; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Wes spent most of his working career as a commercial construction superintendent.  He had many interests including model trains, model airplanes, biking, sailing, racing, woodworking, and reading.
