Virginia Ann Allen, 80, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015. She was born to Frank and Ruby (Archer) Hill on October 22, 1935 in Kirksville, Missouri. She went by Jenny most of her life. She had a wide variety of hobbies. First was playing with her kids, then grandkids, and then great-grandkids. Jenny loved gardening and had an amazing green thumb for all types of plants. She had her own ceramic shop for a few years, but loved painting ceramics to give as gifts or to sell at craft shows. Jenny also enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She is loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
Jenny was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Frank, Walter, and Richard (Monk); sister, Mary; and husbands, Clyde I. Brown and Ray Allen.
She leaves behind her daughters, Gail Lee of Moss Point, MS, and Dee (Clydene) Hamilton of Grain Valley; son, Bill Allen of Kansas City, MO; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
