Virginia (Jean Ann) Middleton, 72, of Holden, MO passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Royer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Holden Cemetery, Holden, MO. Contributions can be made to Village House Hospice.
She was born on March 31, 1939 in Dover, MO to Edwin and Virginia (Hayes) Arth. Virginia married Jerry Middleton on July 2, 1955. She devoted her life to her family and enjoyed spending time nurturing her flowers and watching her birds.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Ed Arth and John Arth, and her daughter, Mendy Wood in 2010.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Middleton of the home; five children, Jerry Middleton and his wife Debbie of Oak Grove, Pamela Horton of Oak Grove, Bobby Middleton and his wife Joy of Paragould, Arkansas, Laura Creek and husband Bill of Cole Camp, MO, Nancy Wheelar of Oak Grove; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Thomas of Oak Grove and Carol Nebgan of Oak Grove; and one brother, Jim Arth of Lee’s Summit.
