Vivian Maxine Butler, age 82, of Villages of Jackson Creek, Independence, MO, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 1, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 4th at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 17902 Whitney Road, Independence, MO 64050; burial in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
Born on October 26, 1928 in Cass County, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Ethyl May (Hale) Corcoran. She was a faithful and devoted member to Lighthouse Baptist Church. She was faithful in her service to her church by praying, sending birthday cards, and always asking what else she could do.
Vivian is survived by her devoted and faithful husband, William “Bill” Butler of residence, and many faithful friends and family members that will miss her dearly.
