Wilda Mae Holmes, 79, of Independence, MO passed away November 19, 2019. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 23, 2019 at Missionary Restoration Branch 3415 N. Elsea Smith Rd, Buckner, MO 64016.
Wilda was born August 22, 1940 in Vestaburg, MI to William J & Bertha D (Carrick) Jenkins. She was a member of The Restored Church of Jesus Christ. Wilda enjoyed her family, drawing, reading, painting and creating Tuc-A-Notes.
Wilda was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Lee Holmes, Sr., 1 brother and 3 sisters.
Wilda is survived by her children: sons: Mitchell Holmes (Valorie), Darrell Holmes (Ruthie), daughter: Brenda Daglow (Terry), sons: Gerald L. Holmes, Jr., Kail Holmes (Rachel), Michael Holmes (Rosmary), daughter: Sharla Fisher (Mike), sister, Judy Teegardin of Vestaburg, Michigan, 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
