William A. “Bill” Renick, 97, of Oak Grove, MO passed away Monday, May 13, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family.
Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Saturday May 18, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Brooking Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to C.S. L.of Oak Grove, City Union Mission or First Baptist Church of Oak Grove.
Bill was born April 17, 1916 in Kansas City, MO to Grover F. & Ester (Reich) Renick. He married Alice Missman on June 4, 1938. Bill was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oak Grove, Oak Grove American Legion and he was a Mason. Bill served his country in the U.S. Army.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife Alice in 2005.
Bill is survived by 1 son: Joseph Renick and wife Ayn of Oak Grove; 1 daughter: Kathryn Schlotzhauer of Lenexa, KS; 1 brother: Grover Renick, Jr. and wife Freda of Lee’s Summit, MO; grandchildren: Lisa Ebert and husband Charlie of Oak Grove, MO, Shannon Durbin of Kansas City, MO; great-grandchildren: Max Tribble, Jacob Ebert, Mary Ebert; great-great-grandchildren: Carter Tribble, Kinsley Cash.
