William Francis “Bill” Calvin, 72, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Shangri-La Rehab & Living Center, Blue Springs. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 22nd at Faith Community Church, 102 SW 9th Street, Oak Grove, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Contributions may be made to the church or to Crossroads Hospice.
Bill was born July 30, 1940, in McBaine, Missouri, the son of William Preston and Louella (Ward) Calvin. He was a mechanic at Ford Motor Co. in Claycomo, MO.
His survivors include his wife, Shirley Calvin of the home; son, Troy Calvin & his wife, Nancy; daughter, Gina Smith & husband, Darrell; son, Billy Calvin & wife, Virginia; seven grandchildren: Jessica, Joby, Starr, Sky, Kurt, Sydney & Brett; three great-grandchildren: Atreyu, Ashtynn & Kaden; and his beloved dogs, Princess & Cocoa, and cat, She-Devil.
