
Zackie L Parscale (Zack), 81, Independence, MO passed away July 28, 2025. Funeral services will be on Monday, August 4, 2025 at 1:00pm. Services will be held at Royer Funeral Home, 100 Royer Ln., Grain Valley, MO 64029. Graveside services will follow at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home, 1823 N Blue Mills Rd., Independence, MO 64058. After that the family would like to invite you to celebrate Zack’s legacy at Buckner Town Hall, 32 S Sibley St., Buckner, MO 64016.
Zack was born September 30, 1943 in Kansas City, MO, son of John L and Myna E. (Mayfield) Parscale. Zack attended Center Elementary and Junior High and then graduated from Westport High School in 1961. Upon graduation he enlisted in the Marine Corp and left for boot camp. He then married Carol (Ennis) Parscale on January 7, 1962. They spent 3 years at Camp Lejune in North Carolina and then made their way back home to Independence, MO, upon discharge of the Marine Corp. Here they raised their family, and Zack was employed at Vendo Corporation, then to Roadway Express, becoming a member of their Teamsters Union. He retired after 30 years of service.
Zack is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 62 years Carol. Children: daughter Ronica (Mike) Stramel and son BZ (Renee) Parscale. Grandchildren: Randi (Zartie) Perry, Lauren (Cody) Stramel, Elizabeth (Chris) Heeter, Dalton Stramel, Brady (Bria) Parscale, Annie (Adam) Lyons, Shelby Parscale. Great-Grandchildren: Zartie IV, Bailor, Whitley, Amelia, Dawson & Blake, as well as many extended family & friends.
Zack was a family man and devoted his life to those he loved most.

I am saddend to learn of Zacks passing! A man of many talents. Zacks quiet ways accomplished for himself and family rewards that few people ever achieve ! With respect . I remember many fond memories with him!
