Angela J. Brown

Angela Jean Brown, 44, of Raymore, Missouri, was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 with her parents by her side.   Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 7th at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 615 SE Todd George Pkwy, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

Angela was born on August 8, 1973 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Don and Sandy (Wieters) Brown.  She was confirmed at Timothy Lutheran Church in Blue Springs in 1988 and was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Lee’s Summit.  Angela attended Lee’s Summit High School and graduated in 1992. After graduation, she went to Concord Career Institute and graduated as a dental assistant in 1997.  Her heart was full of unconditional love, compassion and empathy.  Her three children were the most important part of her life and she was proud of each of them. Her love of animals and her artistic talent was passed down to her kids.  In honor of her father receiving a new heart, she immediately signed up to be an organ donor.  Nothing would make her happier than to know she helped many people with her donation.  At the time of her death, Angela worked for the Apple Bus Company, driving a school bus for the Raymore School District. Almost every day she came home with a good story about what happened on the bus that day. She truly loved her job and the kids on her route and couldn’t wait for school to start. The children on her route would greet her every morning with “Good morning Miss Angie.”

Angela is survived by her son, Nickolas Whitford of Raymore, MO; two daughters: Cheyenne Winslow of Prescott, IA, and Aya Perez of Raymore; her parents, Don and Sandy Brown of Raymore; brother, David Brown (Jenny) and nieces Dotti and Della, of Independence, MO, and nephews Nolan and Collin of Holden, MO; and brother, Michael Brown (Brandy) and nephew Adam of Raymore. Angela is now our angel in heaven and will truly be missed by everyone.
