
Arnoldo “Kasper” Lara Jr., 38, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home in Independence, with visitation at 1:00 p.m., followed by the service at 3:00 p.m.
Arnoldo was born May 29, 1982, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a delivery driver. Arnoldo enjoyed drawing, working on low riders, and playing loud Mexican music while cleaning house. He was good at impersonating. He loved spending time with his children, taking them on motorcycle rides, and stealing their snacks.
Arnoldo was preceded in death by his grandparents and three uncles, Dave Smith, Kenny Smith, and Chon Lara.
His survivors include his five sons: Louie, Arnoldo III, Cesar, Alonso, and Sebastian; two daughters: Jalecia, and Esperanza; his mother, Karen Ramos (Gustavo); his father, Arnoldo Lara Sr. (Luli); eight siblings: Angelica Lopez (Carlos), Alexis Ramos, Abril Lara, Alex Ramos, Gera Ramos, Carlos Ramos, Sonia Ramos, and Juan Carlos Medrano; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Arnoldo “El Kasper” will be deeply missed by his entire family and all of his friends.
