Carrie Rosetta Parker, 91 of Sibley, Missouri passed peacefully at Centerpoint Hospital on Saturday, July 18, 2026.
Born in Council Bluffs, Iowa in 1935. She worked at Belger Cartage until she retired. She continued to work other jobs such as at Harrah’s Casino, Wendy’s and Price Chopper. When she finally retired full time, she stayed home to watch her great grand kids. She enjoyed camping, embroidery, going to Planet Fitness and just being anywhere the grandkids were.
Carrie was preceded in death by her husband Robert, father, mother, numerous brothers, sisters, and grandchildren Stephanie and Ethan Kindle.
She is survived by her children Jennifer, John, Ted and Christine, 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Memorial service 2:00 pm Saturday August 8, 2026, at Saints Haven Restoration Branch, 300 Chicago Ave, Sibley, MO 64088. Private graveside family only to follow at 5:00 pm at Royer’s New Salem Cemetery on Blue Mills Rd, Independence, MO. We ask that if you could honor her by wearing purple as anyone who knew her knew this has always been her favorite color.
