  1. Dear family,
Our hearts and prayers are with you all during these very hard times. May God comfort you and keep you and may his peace be with each of you.

  2. To Charlotte’s children and grandchildren, while I don’t know you “kids”, I’ve known your mom/grandmother for as long as I can recall. You see Your Aunt Shirley Thomas was my nearest and dearest friend from second grade until her passing. Shirley wanted to come “home” to Blue Springs and be in Larry’s house to die, and so she did by about five hours. She was never told that your Aunt Frankie, the only sister Shirley and Dickie shared, died that morning. If you were at Shirley’s service, I am the friend who gave her eulogy. I always enjoyed visits with Charlottee. She was a smart business woman that did well for herself. She came from a little town so small it was hardly a town. But it wasn’t far from Dickie’s mom’s house and where Shirley and I lived and went to school. Our town was bigger. Mtn. Grove, MO. Population a few over 3,000 residents.
I’ve missed Charlotte’s service, which is too bad b/c I would have attended with Larry. No more aunts and uncles now that Dickie and Charlottee has died, so please, you cousins, invite Larry over sometime. He is in Lexington.

Mybest wishes for you to each one find peace and comfort in the days to come.

Fondly, AnT Sharron Dake – E. Kansas City

  3. Thank you Sharron , this is Charlotte and Dicky’s youngest daughter Rosa or best known by family as Sissy. Thank you for your kind words. I don’t know why no one told Shirley that Aunt Frankie had passed I just remember we were on our way down to Mt . Grove for my cousins Barbs funeral the day they both passed . I’ve always thought it was so strange how all three passed so close together! If they had only known . My aunt Shirley meant the world to me , she was my only relative within 300 miles my entire life. As a child I recall all the trips😃 we took to Mt Grove and Dora. Those😃 were the best days of my life. Larry and I sometimes interact on Facebook and I miss seeing him and figured my older sister likely made him mad as she does most people. I do remember you for sure.
