Cherie Merie Polm, 44, of Blue Spring, Missouri passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022.  A Celebration of Life will be held in July.

Cherie was born July 22, 1977 in Florissant, Missouri. Daughter of Aubrey and Gwendolynn (Imhoff) Glenn.

She is preceded in death by her father, Aubrey Glenn.

Cherie is survived by her mother, Gwendolyn Glenn; sister, Danette Glenn (Larry Radford); husband, Jerry Lane; daughter, Gabrielle Glenn (Allen Phelps); grandkids: Aubrey and Ezra Phelps; son, Christopher (Melissa) Polm; grandkids: Lucas Polm and Cheyann Bartlett.

Cherie Merie…. How do we put that soul into words? Daughter, sister, friend, bestfriend, wife, mother, grandmother, LOVED. Spontaneous. Fierce. Blunt. Brutal. The bestfriend everyone wanted and the mom a lot of us needed. A rock and a staple in many people’s lives.  “The old lady and the shoe” is how Gabrielle liked to describe her. She smelled like home, she WAS home for so many people. Cherie had a nickname for just about everyone. She was loud and proud and would put people in their place and often dropped the F bomb. Cherie was opinionated and stood up for her beliefs. She didn’t allow anyone to tell her she was wrong, and that’s part of what made her loved by so many. She didn’t give a S*** what anyone thought. Somehow at the same time she was welcoming, warm and always made sure nobody had dry lips. She probably loved her ChapStick as much as she loved her spawn. If she did love anything more than her ChapStick, it would’ve been a cold beer.
