Colette M. Arnett


Colette Marie Arnett, 71, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO; burial in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Colette was born July 17, 1948 in Jefferson, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Marjorie (Hearing) Teeters. She was a member of the Blue Springs Christian Church. She was a couponer and collected many Precious Moments figurines. Colette belonged to a Bunco Club.  She was a before and after school teacher for the Blue Springs School District and also taught a Sunday school class. 

Colette was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert Teeters and Richard Teeters. 

She is survived by her husband Bill of the home; son, Ryan Arnett (Erin LaBounty) of Overland Park, KS; three granddaughters: Aubree Arnett, Ashlyn Arnett, and Mia LaBounty; mother of Aubree and Ashlyn, Megan Chambers; and two sisters: Ruth Smith (Mark) of Dayton IA, and Mary Sealine (Paul) of Stratford IA.

  2. Colette was a GREAT LADY and a friend to everyone who knew her. She brought out the best in people. She was sharp, witty, and had a great personality. She will be missed by the Grand Community High School class of ’66! Bill, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
