Diana M. Quinn


Diana Marie Quinn born October 8, 1970, lovingly known as “Diane,” to her husband passed away on March 18, 2026, at the age of 55 after a long and courageous battle with illness.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 24 years, Greg R. Quinn Jr.; her children Joseph Donald, Mariah Shai, Josiah Ray, and Jeremy Michael; her sister Denise LeAnn Byrd; her brother Daniel Shane; her Uncle David; her nieces: Carly, Lillian, Gracie, Alley, Francis, and Raina; her nephews and her beloved grandchildren Jaedin, JJ, Archer, Hudson, Marceline, Natalia, Elena, Joel jr, Jax, Juniper, Jewel, Jamison and Giovanni. And we certainly cannot forget her beloved animal babies: Merle, Athena, Stretch, Daisy Mae, and Peety.

Diana was known for her kind heart, her welcoming spirit, and her ability to make everyone feel like family. She loved crafting, gardening, animals, and spending time with her grandchildren. Her home was always open, and her love was always present.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donna Rae Byrd, her father Roy Donald Byrd, Uncle Donnie, Aunt Sue, Aunt Marilyn, Grandma Byrd, Aunt Carol, Uncle Butch.

A memorial service to celebrate Diana’s life will be held on March 28, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Maywood Baptist Church, 10505 E Winner Rd, Independence, MO 64052. All flower deliveries should be made directly to the church on Friday, March 27th 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. or the day of service 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.

In honor of Diana’s wishes, guests are asked to wear purple or any other bright color instead of black.

Diana’s strength, love, and light will live on in all who knew her.
