Donna D. Brillhart


Donna Dorthea Brillhart, 90, of Napoleon, Missouri, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at Oak Grove Nursing and Rehab, Oak Grove, MO.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 17th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Services League.

Donna was born June 15, 1927 in Oak Grove, Missouri, the daughter of Luther and Leava (Wild) Brown.  She married Russell W. Brillhart on August 3, 1945.  Donna worked in the Oak Grove school cafeteria and was a secretary at Weight Watchers.  She enjoyed cooking, playing games with friends, and visiting with her family and friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Russell in 1999, and son, Jimmy Brillhart in 1969.

Her survivors include son, Ken Brillhart (Sarah) of Napoleon; three grandchildren: Jerod Brillhart (Josey) of Kansas City, Shawn Graham (Jennifer) of Odessa, MO, and Jennifer Smith (Chad) of Willard, MO; and four great-grandchildren: Madison Brillhart, Dakota Graham, Shianne Graham, and Tiffany Smith.

  1. Donna was a very special person to me and many others, especially to my immediate family. Many memories shared with Clyde and Geneva, Tanner and Edith, and Donna and Russell who are all together again. I’m sure Jim is enjoying being with his mom and dad together again also.   2. I’ve know Donna since the early 90s such a nice lady . Went to visit my mother in the nursing home and was going to see Donna as well and I was told of her passing . I’m heat goes out to her family . I worked at the TA truck stop for 20 years so I knew her and husband also. – Sharon Rhodd

  3. We met Donna a few years ago while she was still living in her apartment. My daughter and I visited her at Christmas time. She was a lovely lady with a kind soul and I’m sorry to hear of her passing. – Nikki Broadfoot
