Doris Irene Ogan, 85, of Independence, MO passed away July 6, 2022. Visitation will be 2-3pm Monday, July 11, 2022 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence. Funeral service will follow at 3pm. Burial at New Salem Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shephard Hospice.
Doris was born January 9, 1937 in Clinton, MO to George & Muriel (Huey) Pogue. She loved watching her shows; I Love Lucy, Friends and Frasier. Doris was a hard worker. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Doris had a great sense of humor. She worked for FT. Osage Schools in the cafeteria while her grandchildren were in school.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband: Carl Ogan; son: William Ogan and parents: George & Muriel Pogue.
Doris is survived by 3 children: Ray Ogan of Buckner, MO, Kathleen Cramer of Cowgill, MO, Lenny Ogan (Kelly) of Independence, MO; siblings: Edwin Pogue (Delores) of Clinton, MO, Nancy Knisely (Lowell) of Independence, MO, Jim Pogue (Kay) of Clinton, MO; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild and several extended family members.
