Edward Earl Wilcutt, 61, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026. Services will be held on Saturday, August 1st at Crown Pointe Church, 5950 NE Lakewood Way, Lee’s Summit, MO 64064, with visitation at 11:00am followed by a Celebration of his life at 12:00pm.
Edward was born November 3, 1964, in Los Angeles, CA, the son of Eugene Grady and Harriett Jane (Krebaum) Wilcutt. On November 6, 1983, he married Lee Ann Hickman. Edward loved to collect Bibles and give them to people he met. He was collecting Hot Wheels for his grandsons. Edward was an avid guitar player and enjoyed collecting guitar picks. He was a huge Charlie Brown and Snoopy fan. He took pride in his yard and always tried to make it look the best.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Robert Hammon and Freddie Wilcutt; and a sister, Alice Wilcutt.
His survivors include his wife, Lee Ann Wilcutt of the home; three children: Michael Wilcutt of Independence, MO, Sarah Wilcutt of Blue Springs, MO, and Madalyn Wilcutt of Independence, MO; grandsons, Westen and Wyatt Mills; two brothers, John Wilcutt (Deloris) of Independence, MO, and Kenneth Wilcutt (Terri) of Texas; and sister, Ada Boyd (Melvin) of Oak Grove, MO.
