Eldred Jackson Brown, 87, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022. His visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Brown Cemetery, Kissee Mills, MO.
Eldred was born March 30, 1935 in Lead Hill Arkansas. The son of Floyd and Blanche (Macom) Brown. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bee keeping, watching his kids and grandkids play various sports and he was an “expert” mushroom hunter. Eldred was the most amazing father, grandfather and he had just met his great-grandson. He was a man without judgment and he would give anyone the shirt off his back. Eldred was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is was preceded in death by his father and mother; his five siblings: Garland Brown, Neva Thomas, Pauline Cardwell, Glendon Brown and Irene Siliven.
Eldred is survived by his brother, Allen (Carol) Brown; daughter, Melissa (Frank) Martin; daughter, Laura White; son, Aaron (Sara) Brown; ten grandchildren: Jordan (Mathew) Vetter, Jake Martin, Allison (Christopher) Wilson, Jace White, Ryan Brown, Jenna White,
Aliah Bishop, Colton Bishop, Noah Sopher and Emerson Brown; one great-grandson, Turner Vetter. No words can describe what Eldred meant to his family, friends and community. He was truly a great man and will be missed more than words can say.

17 May 2022Eldred Brown was an amazing person and we always enjoyed his company. We bought a beagle puppy from Eldred and certainly enjoyed sharing our love of beagles with Eldred. Prayers to his entire family.
