Elven T. Honeycutt


Elven T. Honeycutt, 78, of Independence, MO passed away May 12, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

At Elven’s request there will a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Elven was born June 27, 1943 in Buckner, MO to Millard & Ethel (Hessenflow) Honeycutt. He enjoyed fishing, grilling outside and was an avid Chiefs fan. Elven loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved spending as much time as he could with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Elven was preceded in death by his daughter: April Humbird; parents: Millard & Ethel Honeycutt; brother: Elgie Honeycutt; sisters: Faye Dunnermuth, Bonita Wilson.

Elven is survived by his wife Cheri Honeycutt of the home; daughters: Tobie Newton (Bob) of Independence, MO, Wendy Watson (Darran) of Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren: Brianna Deupree, Trent Watson, Caitlyn Montes (Eddie), Tyler Watson; great-grandchildren: Bella, Ricky; sisters: Dianna Sanders of Independence, MO, Sharon Hardin of Independence, MO.
