Gladys M. Gilmore, 91, Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 after a lengthy series of illnesses. She was preceded in death by her second husband, James Gilmore, in 2007. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Delbert Mains, in 1979. She is survived by 4 children and three stepchildren. The daughters are Pamela Hall, Starr Harris, Sue Carman, and son John Mains. Surviving stepchildren are James Gilmore JR, Johnny Gilmore, and Mike Gilmore. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation proceedings are scheduled for Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Royer Funeral Home, Independence MO.  Graveside services and burial are scheduled for Monday, February 7, 2022 at Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak IA. Gladys was loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
