James “Jim” Joseph Crawford, 57, of Independence, MO passed away July 22, 2022.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Jim was born September 9, 1964 in Pleasant Hill, MO. To James & Roberta (McDaniel) Crawford. James was married to his wife Lynn of 30 years. Jim had his own furniture business “South City Furniture” most of his life. he was so passionate and hard working. Jim loved his dog buddy who passed away recently. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Jim love camping.
Jim was preceded in death by his daughter: Jennifer, his dad James and both of his grandparents.
Jim’s survivors include his wife Lynn Crawford, his daughter Tiffany Crawford; his daughter in law Krystina, his son Travis & wife Jess, his grandchildren: Marlee, Kyle, Mac and Josie.

27 Jul 2022Jim was so full of life and I never saw him without that big smile and something funny to say. Even on his last night he was cracking jokes and had us laughing. He was a great friend and he would do anything for anybody. He started off as our crazy neighbor 28 years ago and him and Lynn have become lifelong friends. We’ll miss you Jimmy! Heaven gained a special guy! I’m sure he is wrangling cattle, driving a tractor, playing with Buddy and drinking a beer! We are here for you Lynnie! We love you and we are so sorry for your loss. You will continue to be in our hearts and prayers. ❤

7 Aug 2022Angie let us know about Jim’s death. We are so sorry. At least once a week I think of Jim as I’m passing the paths he made behind our home. Though never meeting you in person you guys live in our hearts always with the joy all 4 of us shared in this house and property.

14 Aug 2022Jimmie Joe never had any boys but he thinks of Travis as his neighbor and gave Travis his furniture store! So Jimmie only had two girls. One already died. Lynn I’m so sorry for your loss! I know that you are hurting ! I’m sorry Baby Girl I don’t think that I don’t care. I’m his mother I care so very much.
